Talkable Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Talkable mobile application (“Talkable”, “the app”) published by PrimeCode LLC (“PrimeCode”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using Talkable, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The app

Talkable is an offline helper for young children who communicate with pictures, routines, and a gentle timer. Parents configure content in a PIN-protected parent area. You are responsible for supervising your child’s use of the device and for enabling appropriate device-level controls (such as Apple Guided Access or Android screen pinning).

2. Subscriptions

Talkable offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (“Talkable Pro” or similar names shown in the app) that unlock premium features such as unlimited communication boards, routines, and the daily tracker.

• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Price. The subscription price and length (for example, monthly or annual) are shown in the app before you subscribe. Prices may vary by region and are set by the applicable app store.
• Free trials. If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel before it expires. Trial eligibility and duration are determined by the app store and may vary.
• Renewal. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price.
• Management. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device’s App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. PrimeCode does not process refunds directly.

3. Demo (free) tier

Talkable may be used without a subscription in a limited demo mode. Demo features, limits, and availability may change. Premium features require an active subscription.

4. Your content

Photos, voice clips, schedules, and other content you create in Talkable are stored locally on your device. You retain ownership of your content. You are responsible for backing up your device if you wish to preserve that content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Talkable in any unlawful manner or for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
• Circumvent subscription or access controls.
• Use the app without appropriate supervision of the child using it.

6. Disclaimer

Talkable is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Talkable is not a medical device and does not provide medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic advice. It is a communication and routine helper tool. Consult qualified professionals for speech, developmental, or health concerns.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrimeCode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of Talkable. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for subscriptions in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $50 if you have not paid for a subscription.

8. Privacy

Our handling of information is described in the Talkable Privacy Policy. By using Talkable, you also agree to that policy.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we do. Continued use of Talkable after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
