Talkable Privacy Policy

Talkable (“we”, “us”) is an offline helper app for young children who communicate with pictures, routines, and a gentle timer. This policy explains what information the app handles and how we use it. Talkable is published by PrimeCode LLC (“PrimeCode”).

Summary

• Photos, voice clips, schedules, tracker entries, and your child’s name stay on your device.
• We do not show ads or sell personal information.
• Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google; we do not receive your payment card details.
• A small amount of technical data may be sent to service providers so the app can function (see below).

Information stored on your device

Talkable stores content you create in parent mode locally on your phone or tablet, including:

• Communication board tiles (photos and labels)
• Recorded voice clips
• Daily routines and schedules
• Tracker check-ins (mood, notes, and related fields)
• Your child’s profile name and app settings (such as fonts and accessibility options)
• Your parent PIN (stored securely on the device)

This content is not uploaded to our servers for storage or backup. If you delete the app, its data is removed from the device unless you back up the device separately through Apple iCloud, Google, or another backup service.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store:

• Your child’s photos, voice recordings, or schedule content on our servers
• Payment card numbers or billing addresses
• Precise location data
• Contacts from your address book

Third-party services

Talkable uses a limited set of third-party services:

• Apple App Store / Google Play — Processes in-app subscriptions and renewals. Apple or Google handles payment. Talkable receives subscription status (for example, whether premium features are active), not your card details.
• RevenueCat — Helps validate subscription and entitlement status. RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription metadata only. It does not receive photos, voice clips, schedules, or tracker content.
• Firebase (Google) — Used for Remote Config, which can deliver app configuration such as minimum supported version and store links. This does not include your child’s photos, voice, or schedules.
• Microsoft Clarity — May collect anonymized session and interaction data (such as screens viewed and taps) to help us improve the app experience. Clarity does not receive your child’s photos, voice recordings, or schedule content.

Analytics and advertising

Talkable does not show third-party advertising. We do not use analytics on your child’s content (photos, voice, or schedules). Any product analytics are limited to general app usage patterns through the services listed above.

Children’s privacy

Talkable is designed for use by young children under parent supervision. Parents configure content in a PIN-protected parent area. You are responsible for supervising your child’s use of the device and for enabling device-level controls (such as Apple Guided Access or Android screen pinning) when appropriate.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children on our servers. Child-related content remains on the device as described above.

Your choices and controls

• Edit or delete content at any time in parent mode.
• Erase all app data from Settings → Erase all data.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple or Google account subscription settings.
• Remove the app to delete local data (subject to device backup settings).

Data retention

Content you create stays on your device until you delete it or erase all data in the app. Subscription-related metadata held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat is retained according to those providers’ policies and as needed to manage billing and entitlements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Talkable after changes means you accept the updated policy.
